In the fourth quarter of 2024, the free-to-play gaming segment on iOS in Cyprus showcased intriguing trends. Based on data from Sensor Tower, here’s a closer look at how the top five games performed.
Block Blast！ from Hungry Studio saw a consistent rise in weekly downloads, starting at around 1.5K in early October and peaking at 3.7K in late December. Despite the increase in downloads, there was no recorded revenue for this period.
Township by Playrix experienced a gradual increase in both downloads and revenue. Weekly downloads grew from 290 at the start of the quarter to surpass 1.1K by the end. Revenue also saw a rise, beginning at approximately $1K and climbing to $1.5K by December.
Perfect Tidy, developed by ABI GLOBAL LTD., showed varied performance. Downloads peaked at 883 in late October before stabilizing around 450 towards the end of the quarter. Revenue remained modest, with a peak of $31 in late December.
The launch of Pokémon TCG Pocket by The Pokemon Company in late October showed a strong initial download figure of 3.6K, which then settled to around 180 by the year’s end. Revenue displayed fluctuations, reaching a high of $3.2K in mid-December.
Lastly, Pizza Ready! from Supercent, Inc. maintained a steady download rate, with numbers hovering between 300 and 600. Revenue showed minor variations, peaking at $50 in early December.
